Classroom Behavior Management- CUTE twist

I was looking at some posts of a few other blogs I read this morning. I came across this very fun idea.  I have seen many teachers who have a compliment jar or a character trait chart. When a class receives a compliment or had excellent behavior they earn a check, when they earn a certain number they can earn a class reward.  This is a new fun take on the idea from the 2nd grade rocks blog.

Parts may come and go!

Instead of earning a check or tally on a chart students earn a body part to add to the Potato Head. Students can also lose a part if their behavior is really off track. Students earn their reward when the potato head's parts are all together.  You can always reference back to the potato head to make sure they are staying focused on their behaviors.  You can check out her post Here.  I love IT!
