It's your choice baby...
I stumbled across a great song/video that someone created to go with Kelso's Choice. I love it even more because it is to the tune of Ice Ice Baby...a song from my childhood! I have been using fun videos at the end of my lessons for dancing and singing to help promote the topic as well as get up and move. I will definitely be adding this to my next lesson with 3rd grade! I just hope they find it as fun as I do. Check out the video below...

Getting the Wiggles out...
Going into the classrooms once a month, I want to make my lessons as memorable as possible. Engaging the kids with different learning styles is important to me. If I am talking at the kids the whole time, a lot of kids wont be getting much out of it. Sometimes it's hard to get up and move around during the lesson so sometimes I do an activity at the close as a reward for doing a good job listening or cooperating. Today I found a new video that I tried out with a 4th grade class today. THEY LOVED IT!
And YES even the older kids like it... Any type of silly fun dancing or movements really help the kids get some wiggles out and have FUN! Even the shy kids get into it by the end!!
